Maxsun Readies Panther Lake and Wildcat Lake MoDT NAS Motherboards for November

Quick Report

Maxsun has shared full specifications for the SK-PTLNAS and SK-WCLAIO, two NAS-focused MoDT motherboards built around Intel Panther Lake and Wildcat Lake silicon. Both were shown at Computex 2026 and are expected to launch this month, though pricing remains unknown.

The SK-PTLNAS tops out at the Core Ultra 9 386H, a 16-core chip with four Xe3 GPU cores, up to 128 GB of DDR5-7200 memory, five M.2 slots, three Mini SAS ports, and a variety of high-speed network ports. The SK-WCLAIO is the smaller sibling, measuring 90 x 165 mm with a six-core Core 7 350, a single DDR5-6400 SO-DIMM slot, 1 TB of onboard UFS 3.1 storage, and four M.2 slots, aimed at a compact always-on NAS build.
