Lattice Semiconductor Completes Acquisition of AMI

Lattice Semiconductor has completed its acquisition of AMI, bringing together Lattice's low-power programmable FPGA portfolio and AMI's platform firmware and infrastructure management technology. The combined business is aimed at secure control and management for cloud, data-center, and physical AI systems.
AMI will continue operating as a dedicated business unit and is expected to retain its silicon-neutral approach. Lattice says the combination expands its capabilities, customer base, and addressable market while preserving the firmware relationships that AMI has built across the server ecosystem.
