AMD Unveils EXPO-ULL Ultra Low-Latency Memory Profile

Quick Report

AMD introduced EXPO-ULL (Ultra Low Latency), an SPD profile extension for memory that prescribes much tighter timings for DDR5-6000 and DDR5-6400 kits targeted at AMD platforms. Participating vendors include G.Skill, Kingston, Klevv, Lexar, Team Group, V-Color, and ADATA XPG.

AMD's tests claim up to a 13% FPS uplift versus generic JEDEC kits, with average gains around 4%, by shipping kits with significantly tightened timings for Ryzen platforms where frequency headroom is limited.
