NVIDIA GeForce 610.47 WHQL Retires Legacy Control Panel for Consumer Drivers

Quick Report

NVIDIA's GeForce 610.47 WHQL release formally ends active support for the legacy NVIDIA Control Panel on consumer Game Ready and Studio driver branches. After a clean install, the control panel is removed, and NVIDIA is directing users to the newer NVIDIA App for ongoing feature development.

NVIDIA says the old control panel can still be downloaded from the Microsoft Store for users who need remaining settings access, but no further feature or maintenance updates are planned. Enterprise RTX PRO branches will keep support for a limited transition period before moving fully to the new app path.

The same release also updates CUDA to version 13.3 and includes game-ready support plus bug fixes, making this a functional driver update as well as a major software transition point.
