Pat Gelsinger Retires and Appoints Two Interim CEOs

Pat Gelsinger announced his retirement as CEO of Intel, effective from Dec 1 2024. The company has appointed two interim CEOs, David Zinsner and Michelle (MJ) Johnston Holthaus both of whom are currently serving as Intel's Interim chief operating officers.
Zinsner is Executive VP and CFO while Holthaus will manage CCG (Client Computing Group), Datacenter & AI Group (DCAI), Network and Edge Group (NEX). Intel's board of directors are in the process of finding permanent replacement for Gelsinger. Frank Yeary will be the independent chair of board of Intel will be interim executive chair during transition period.
Intel board of directors has congratulated and thanked Pat Gelsinger for his manufacturing expertise, leadership and contribution to the company.
