Started by Anand Lal Shimpi in 1996, AnandTech has been a pioneer in the tech review space, providing in-depth analysis and insights into the latest gadgets and technologies.

Anand decided to retire from publications at the age of 32 to join Apple and named Ryan Smith as his successor to oversee the operations of AnandTech. Future PLC is the current owner and has agreed to make the site and its forum accessible to the public considering the wealth of information and knowledge that AnandTech has accumulated over the years by engaging with tech community.
